1. Wooden Crate Packaging
Applicable for large, heavy parts and irregularly shaped items. Crates are custom-built according to product dimensions, with internal tie-down points to prevent movement during transit. All export wooden crates are heat-treated to meet international quarantine requirements. Gross weight, dimensions, and center of gravity are marked on the outside for easy handling.
Applicable for medium-weight parts or large items with regular shapes. The frame structure is simpler than a full crate, with wooden beams reinforcing the bottom and sides, while the top is open or semi-enclosed for forklift access. Heat treatment is also applied. Frame-packed goods require additional securing inside the container to prevent tilting or sliding.
Applicable for precision parts and small fragile items. Parts are first wrapped in anti-rust bags to prevent corrosion from humid sea conditions. High-density foam sheets or EPE padding are then used to fill all gaps inside the carton or wooden crate, ensuring the part does not shift or strike the container walls under impact. Foam thickness is adjusted based on part weight and shipping distance.
FEDEX / DHL Express: Mainly uses cartons with foam liners. Single-side dimensions are strictly controlled to avoid oversize surcharges.
FCL (Full Container Load): Prioritizes wooden crates and frames. Loading follows a heavy-bottom, light-top principle, with reinforcement at the container door.
LCL (Less than Container Load): Extra corner protectors and strapping bands are added to all packages, as LCL cargo undergoes multiple transfers and more frequent handling.
Photos are taken at each stage of packaging and container loading. In case of damage, these records help trace the issue and support insurance claims.
