left and right handle lovol 700 RQ11-62A000007C0 RQ11-61A000008C0

Description

These left and right pilot control handles, identified by part numbers RQ11-62A000007C0 (left-hand) and RQ11-61A000008C0 (right-hand), are genuine control components designed for Lovol 700 series hydraulic excavators. These handles serve as the primary operator interface for controlling boom, arm, bucket, and swing functions.

1. Installation Location
The handles are mounted on the pilot control valve assemblies located on the operator's left and right sides within the excavator cab. The left handle (RQ11-62A000007C0) and right handle (RQ11-61A000008C0) are installed as a mirrored pair. They are positioned on the armrest consoles at a comfortable height and angle for the operator to grip naturally. The installation involves connecting hydraulic pilot lines and electrical wiring for integrated functions such as proportional auxiliary flow control.

2. Function
These handles are the primary pilot control devices that convert operator joystick movements into hydraulic pilot pressure signals. The left handle typically controls swing and arm (dipper) functions, while the right handle controls boom and bucket functions, following the standard excavator control pattern. Each handle incorporates proportional pressure-reducing valves that modulate pilot oil pressure based on the joystick deflection angle, enabling precise, variable-speed control of hydraulic actuators. The handles may also include integrated thumb rollers or rocker switches for auxiliary hydraulic functions such as breaker or grapple operation.

3. Maintenance and Service
Regular maintenance includes checking the mounting bolts for proper torque, inspecting the pilot hoses for wear or leaks, and ensuring smooth joystick movement without sticking or excessive play. If the handle output becomes erratic or unresponsive, first check the pilot oil supply pressure and the condition of the pilot hoses connected to the handle. The handle assembly contains internal pilot valves that are not field-serviceable; if internal wear or leakage occurs, the complete handle unit should be replaced. When replacing, always verify the left (RQ11-62A000007C0) and right (RQ11-61A000008C0) part numbers as they are side-specific and not interchangeable. Use new O-rings on hydraulic connections during installation to prevent oil leaks.

4. Important Notes
Before removing or installing handles, ensure the excavator is parked on level ground, the engine is off, and the hydraulic pilot system is fully depressurized. After installation, bleed the pilot system and test all handle functions through their full range of motion before returning the machine to operation.
