Service notes for Weichai air filter 612600119273
This page identifies a Weichai air filter by part number 612600119273. Air-filter replacement is a routine engine-maintenance task, but the exact element must match the machine's housing and application. Confirm the original number and engine nameplate before purchase.
Match the element to the assembly
Record the engine model and serial, plus the equipment model where available.
Compare 612600119273 with the number on the removed element and supplier documentation.
Check the element profile, end caps and sealing surface against the housing.
Inspect the housing rim, clips and intake duct for damage or accumulated dust.
Keep the intake side clean
Clean the outside of the housing before opening it so loose dirt does not enter the duct. Remove the old element carefully, avoid striking or contaminating the clean side, and seat the replacement evenly. Refit the cover and make sure clamps and intake connections are secure.
Service interval and inspection
Use the engine or equipment manufacturer's maintenance schedule, including any duty-cycle adjustments for dusty work. Do not extend the interval solely because an element looks clean, and use only a cleaning method approved for that element type.
