FLASHER SG2501B

Description

Product Introduction:

The SG2501B electronic flasher (also known as a flash relay) is an electrical component used in SANY truck crane lighting systems. It is designed to control the flashing frequency of turn signals and hazard warning lights.

1. Installation Location
This relay is installed in the crane's electrical control panel or fuse box, typically located in the cab or operator's console. It uses a plug-in relay design with a standard automotive electrical connector for easy installation.

2. Function
The flasher generates an intermittent current to power the turn signal lamps, causing them to flash on and off. This flashing signal effectively communicates the crane's turning direction to nearby personnel and vehicles, enhancing safety during operation. The relay also controls the hazard warning light circuit, providing emergency flashing when activated. It operates on a 24V DC electrical system, ensuring reliable performance in demanding environments.

3. Maintenance and Service
If turn signals or hazard lights fail to flash, stop flashing, or flash at an irregular rate, the flasher unit should be inspected. The relay is a sealed electronic component and contains no user-serviceable internal parts. If faulty, it must be replaced with an identical SG2501B unit. Before removal, ensure the crane's electrical system is switched off and the battery is disconnected.

4. Important Notes
This flasher is specifically designed for 24V systems and is used in multiple SANY crane models. Confirm compatibility with the specific crane model before purchase.
