The DAVs300-2511 is a transducer-type pressure sensor designed for industrial applications requiring accurate pressure measurement.
1.Installation Location
This sensor is typically installed directly on pipelines, manifolds, or equipment ports via its threaded process connection. It is suitable for both hydraulic oil and compressed air systems. The installation orientation is flexible, but the manufacturer recommends positioning the cable outlet downward or sideways to avoid moisture ingress and mechanical stress on the connector.
2.Function
The sensor converts system pressure into a standard analog output signal (e.g., 4–20 mA or 0–10 V, depending on the variant). It operates on the piezoresistive measuring principle, delivering a linear output proportional to the applied pressure. The device is intended for continuous pressure monitoring, feedback control loops, and limit signalling when paired with an external controller or indicator.
3.Maintenance and Service
This sensor requires no routine calibration under normal operating conditions, but periodic verification against a known reference is recommended every 12–24 months depending on application criticality. The housing is sealed to IP65/IP67, so external cleaning should be done with a soft, damp cloth; do not use high-pressure jets or aggressive solvents. If the output signal drifts or becomes unstable, check the electrical connections and cable integrity first. The sensing element is not user-serviceable; return the unit to the manufacturer or an authorised service centre for internal repairs or recalibration.
4.Important Notes
The pressure range and overpressure limit are fixed per the model designation. Do not exceed the rated maximum pressure. Ensure the media is compatible with the wetted materials (stainless steel and viton seal) before installation.
