XCMG QUY50 Track Roller

Description

Product Introduction:

1. Basic Identity
This track roller, also called a bottom roller, is an undercarriage component designed for the XCMG QUY50 50-ton crawler crane. It is one of several rollers mounted along the bottom of the track frame .

2. Installation Position
The track roller sits on the lower side of the track frame, positioned between the front idler and the rear drive sprocket. Multiple rollers are spaced along the bottom rail of the frame. Each roller mounts with bearings and shafts bolted to the frame.

3. Function
The track roller has two main jobs. First, it carries the full weight of the crane and transfers that load evenly to the ground through the track shoes . Second, it rolls along the track chain as the machine moves. This reduces rolling resistance and protects the chain from excessive wear. The roller also helps keep the track chain aligned on the undercarriage .

4. Material and Construction
The roller body is typically forged from alloy steel grades such as 40Mn2 or 42CrMo . The tread surface is induction-hardened for wear resistance. Bearings are sealed to keep out dirt and moisture, as this part works in mud, sand, and dust. The seals are critical for long service life in these harsh conditions .

5. Maintenance
Inspect the track roller regularly for oil leaks around the seals. Check the tread surface for flat spots, cracks, or uneven wear. If a roller stops turning or wears unevenly, it will damage the track chain and increase fuel consumption. Replace the roller as a complete unit when worn. The typical warranty period is 2500 working hours or one year .
